  • While the Wim Hof Method breathing technique is safe and highly beneficial for most people, it is a powerful physiological practice and is not suitable for everyone. Please do not participate in a WHM breathing class if you:

    • Are pregnant

    • Have been diagnosed with epilepsy

    • Have a history of serious heart conditions, recent heart surgery, or uncontrolled high blood pressure

    • Have experienced stroke, brain aneurysm, or other serious neurological conditions

    • Suffer from severe asthma or other serious respiratory conditions (unless cleared by your medical professional)

    • Have a history of fainting or loss of consciousness

    • Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol

    If you have any medical condition, are currently under medical care, or take medications that affect your cardiovascular, respiratory, or nervous system, you must consult your medical professional before attending.

    All breathing is practiced seated or lying down for safety. You must never practice WHM breathing in water, while driving, or in any situation where loss of consciousness could put you at risk.
